Electric Vehicle Charging: Permit Approvals

AB 970 was introduced on 2-17-21 by Assembly Members McCarty and Chiu.

This bill requires applications to install electric vehicle charging stations be approved within 5 business days of submission if the city/county has not provided written notice of an incomplete application or deficiencies with the application. Additionally, if the application is deemed complete, it must be approved within 20 business days of the date the application was deemed complete.
